Welcome

Here I am three years later with a new blog, new ideas, more knowledge, wisdom, countries explored and so much more to introduce to whoever is interested in what I have to say. First off, let me say thank you to those who have followed and supported me from the beginning when I had a simple, amateur blog and grainy, highly-filtered iphone 4 photos. Hey, we all have to start somewhere, right?

My goal is to continue evolving not only my blog but also myself as a person, as a writer and as a traveler. I also want to make this more personal to me and my story. I’ll be sharing more about the things that have occurred in my life both good and “bad” (there is always a silver lining) that have brought me to where I am, shaped who I am today and inspired my writing. If you are looking for a space that solely offers surface information like travel tips and touristy suggestions then this is not the place BUT if you are open to something alternative that gets a little deeper and can still offer some of the same travel info with more of a “off the beaten path” twist then please explore.

Let’s spread love, respect and tolerance for one another and our differences. In my eyes, the best way to do this is through learning about other people, cultures, perspectives, and ways of life. Whether it is physically traveling to a foreign place or mentally traveling to a foreign place, allow yourself to be completely open to things you would never consider. I am not saying you have to agree, or participate in these things but give others a chance to be heard.

I’m always open to feedback and inquiries about my life, my writing, my travel, my hair color…whatever it may be. I want this to be a space where I can showcase my adventures but also be vulnerable and authentic – flaws and all.
