About
I am 29 years old, born and raised in Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a published writer. As a self-proclaimed cosmopolitan, I am a free spirit with a hint of rebellion and an insatiable appetite for travel. I have funded my own adventures since the age of 20. Over the last eight years I have traveled to over 40 countries, lived in Spain, Australia and currently living in Nicaragua. I live for exploring outside of my comfort zone as this is when my heart and spirit is most free and wild. I’ve traveled for many reasons; out of curiosity, to escape emotional pain, break-ups, unhappiness and complacency, to find what makes my soul happy and who I am at my very core. I wouldn’t consider myself a “backpacker”, however by no means do I travel luxuriously. I’m the girl that stays in hostels but still curls her hair and wears make-up most days (if you know me, you know I can’t live without my eyebrow pencil). I’m into fashion trends and I tend to overpack. I hope to be a voice for travelers in between “roughing it” and “luxury”, although I’ve experienced both, traveling on a budget doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy some of life's little luxuries.
My blog is not constricted to just traveling but more a fusion of many aspects of my life. Here you will find posts about my travel experiences, travel tips and tricks, my personal journey, fashion, visual stories and things that inspire me. Whether you are looking for stories to inspire your own travel journey or you want to stay home in your comfy bed and live vicariously through someone else’s adventures - welcome!
